HeatherAsh Amara

It is an honor to welcome HeatherAsh Amara to Vagina Chronicles Podcast and to introduce her to you on today’s episode. HeatherAsh is the author of Warrior Goddess Training: Become the Woman You are Meant to Be. HeatherAsh shares her journey from spiritual student to apprentice to Toltec Master don Miguel Ruiz to her path of helping women discover their innate power and divinity.

In this enlightening conversation, HeatherAsh walks us through some of the truths about our path to freedom that many of us need to re-learn. She helps us to peel back the layers of training that obscure our deepest connections to self, love, and others.

In her book, Warrior Goddess Training, HeatherAsh lays out 10 lessons that we can all use to come home to our femininity and power. Some of these lessons may be confrontational as our egos cling to what they know in order to keep us “safe,” but they are so necessary to growth. As HeatherAsh says, we must have a willingness to be uncomfortable. It’s ok to go slow. We are not alone and there is no judgment.

We hope you all love this conversation as much as we loved having it!

Have you ever hidden your faith so that others don’t judge you? Do you squash your spirituality to fit into whatever societal structure you’re currently in?

Are you embarrassed to tell your friends that you believe in God?

Whether you identify as spiritual, religious, atheist, agnostic, pagan etc., it’s almost guaranteed that you have felt prejudice or down-right stigmatization based on your beliefs. It has somehow turned into a personal offense to discuss how we practice our faith or lack thereof.

In this week’s episode, we try to uncover the role of spirituality in our lives today. We break down how personal experiences affect what we think “spiritual” means (it’s all love, yo) and why we shouldn’t let those ideas sully our chance to connect to something deeper than ourselves.

Please join us in a truly open conversation about what it means to be spiritual.
