By now, you’ve probably heard of the nail polish that detects the 3 main date-rape drugs: Xanax, Rohypnol, and GHB. At first read of the sensational headlines, it sounds great! A way for women to tell if she’s getting roofied?! That’s a big win for us, right? Well, the considerable backlash from the feminist community, reporting that this nail polish is just another way for victims to be blamed for not taking all available safety precautions to prevent her own rape, says otherwise.
