Okay, let’s talk about that “rape prevention” nail polish, but let’s also talk about the feminist backlash.
By now, you’ve probably heard of the nail polish that detects the 3 main date-rape drugs: Xanax, Rohypnol, and GHB. At first read of the sensational headlines, it sounds great! Well, the considerable backlash from the feminist community, reporting that this nail polish is just another way for victims to be blamed for not taking all available safety precautions to prevent her own rape, says otherwise.
Whoa. Toni got pissed. Take a listen and hear what we think about nail polish, women’s intellect, and who the rapists really are. And why can’t women be trusted to understand that nail polish alone will not save her?
