Social media has become a big part of many people’s lives over the past decade. For many, it’s how they begin and end their days. And within the time we’re scrolling through our “friend’s” status updates, we’re also being inundated with articles and videos, all telling us how we can be, well…better.
Ok, so we love self-help, self-improvement, self-love stuff…heck, we ponder how we can love more and offer more of ourselves on a daily basis!
But being constantly barraged by all the ways in which we’re not currently good enough can cause our self-esteems to suffer quite a bit of damage.
In today’s episode, we share some great ways for you to resist the insidious nature of these posts, as well as how to feel good enough as you are. So, please join us in our discussion of how social media can cause us to break down on the road to self-improvement (click on the link to check out Angela’s blog post!).
How do you feel about your social media streams? Do you feel empowered by them or not good enough? Tell us about it in the Comments below.
