Angela and Toinette address the topic of sexual harassment of women in the workplace with honesty and impact. This issue brings up anger and illuminates the deep-seeded injustice towards women in the workplace. They will share personal stories of sexual harassment they have endured in different jobs throughout their lives. You will be inspired to say, “no” when it happens to you. They share the appropriate steps you need to take to address it with the right people in your workplace.
Be part of the movement to show how many women endure sexual harassment in the workplace. Let’s make change by showing the world it’s an epidemic. If you have ever been sexually harassed, please join us on March 7, 2014 for a one-day boycott of work. Walk Out for Sexual Harassment Awareness on March 7, 2014. Stay tuned for more details… but mark it on your calendars!

Would it be possible to walk lake eola with signs stating why so many women are present? Get news reporter there to? Or talk to one prior to the day to get the word out?
Angela Stoner says
Stella! We definitely have a lot of work to do in organizing an event for March 7, 2014. Your suggestion of walking around Lake Eola is fabulous for the local community here in Orlando. A planning meeting is needed! Thank you for engaging and I hope that you will continue to share your great ideas with us!
Jocelynne says
Will you be creating a Facebook page for this event? I’d love to have something I could share.
Toinette Vizard says
We didn’t get the level of feedback we were hoping for this year in regards to this event. We would still love to encourage everyone to take a moment on March 8, International Women’s Day, to speak out against sexual harassment in the workplace. Thank you for reaching out to us. We will try again next year!
Sincerely,
Toni and Angela
