Mike is a survivor of child rape. Like all stories of sexual abuse or rape, or any other pain perpetrated upon a child, his story is pretty hard to hear.
Trapped by the abuse and the rage it created within him, Mike turned to drugs, which led him to homelessness, crime, jail, and eventually federal prison.
After entering rehab and receiving help, Mike changed his life.
Since his shift toward healing, Mike has dedicated his life to empowering sexual abuse survivors and ending sexual violence. He speaks to teachers, students, law enforcement, church goers… anyone and everyone who needs to hear his message!
His voice is changing the world.

Thank you for the work you do. I, too, have been working on setting victims free since 2005 when I finally published my book, “Father, Forgive My Father”. Since that time I have been involved in building my book’s platform, speaking at events, doing radio interviews, and speaking with victims via social media. I LOVE seeing victims set free from the ravages of sexual child abuse. I, too, was a victim for 15 years, and never, ever thought I would escape. But I made a promise to God when I was 12 years old, that when I was grown up I would make others take a look at the problem…and that is what I’m doing. I love finding other people who are similarly invested. Listening now to Mike Pisterino’s Pod Cast.
