This week, we are inspired by a recent article rebuking the Esquire piece “In Praise of 42-Year-Old Women,” which has incurred quite a lot of negative feedback… We’ll let you decide for yourself (check the link below).
In this article, the one that we thought brought up a great point – “I Don’t Care if You Like It” – brings attention to the fact that women do not conduct themselves for the good opinions of others! We can wear make-up, dress sexy, walk tall, sashay our hips, or do whatever else the heck we do because <gasp> we want to. We like it!
Too often, other people feel that it’s necessary to share their idea of Truth and dim the joy and light of others. Ugh. Let’s stop doing that to each other, can we?
